At the Central West Livestock Exchange the average throughput of cattle for the last 5 years is 78,000 head. Our cattle yards are designed to ensure the best animal welfare outcomes for the stock, including undercover soft flooring and water in all pens. At present we have 104 selling pens and 42 receival and delivery pens.

The average sheep throughput for the last 5 years is 1,400,000. Our record sale was 56,000 in September 2013. In January 2021 we broke the national record for 1st cross ewes at $470.

The Central West Livestock Exchange is the last pig selling centre in NSW. We average about 16,000 pigs a year.
