Aerodrome

The Forbes Aerodrome is located 8km West of Forbes along Bedgerabong Road, in an area of lightly timbered Crown Land. The access road from Bedgerabong Road is sealed. The Aerodrome site covers about 0.84 hectares. Phone 02 6852 3845 for more information.

Runway

There is a small runway (09/27) facility in the Forbes Shire, where private aircraft can land. Fees for using this facility include charges for holding an aeroplane at the airport and Landing fees that can be found in Council's Rates, Fees and Charges.

Forbes Soaring & Aero Club

The Aero Club Clubhouse is located on the Southern end of the aerodrome and is accessible via Bedgerabong Road. For more information contact the club on 02 6852 3845.
