Over 70 women, looking to ride 800km in 4 days, to raise vital funds for Wings4Kidz.
Departing Bathurst on postie bikes on 9 April the charity ride will head to Young,
Temora, West Wyalong and then in to Parkes on 12 April.
The trip will cover over 800km and
travel on mainly dirt/gravel back roads along the way.
Over $500,000 was raised in the last 2 years, with this event being the third year of the ride and with the amount of riders increasing year on year the group is hoping to raise in excess of
$300,000 once again.
Of the over 70 women, there are seven mothers, two grandmothers and now one of the
children who have benefited from the free flight service that the charity offers.
The event will travel through the towns of other families who need the service, with the families
invited to join the participants for dinners to share their stories.
Supported by mechanics to keep the bikes going and 2 doctors to keep the riders ship shape, it
is a rolling group of over 90 people.
