Goldridge Stormwater Retention Requirements

As Goldridge is a brand new Greenfield Estate, Council thought carefully about how to minimise the impact of the stormwater generated from roofs, roads, driveways and footpaths. If we don’t get this right early, we risk flooding our surrounding road network during large storm events!

As a result, you may see a requirement for additional stormwater storage on your certificate of title or sales contract. To make this as easy as possible to comply with, Council has prepared standards that you may choose to comply with.

This is shown below.

• In summary, if your property is less than 1000sqm, you will need to provide a 3000L rainwater tank above any requirement of BASIX.
• If your property is greater than 1000sqm, you need to provide a 5000L rainwater tank.
