Australia Day Awards 2025

 The Forbes Shire Citizen of the Year, Senior Citizen of the Year and Young Citizen of the Year awards recognise and reward those Shire residents who have displayed a consistent record of excellence, who have made outstanding achievements in their field and who have made a significant contribution to our community. The awards are open to residents across the Forbes Shire.
Nominations are now open, closing on Friday 17 January 2025.

EOI Food Vendors and Buskers now open! 

Expressions of Interest for Food Vendors and Buskers are now open! Food Vendors and local performers are invited to join the community at Lions Park on Sunday 26 January from 6pm-9pm at Lions Park. This informal gathering will be concluded with the annual Fireworks display at 9pm. For more information please contact Council's Events Team on community@forbes.nsw.gov.au or 02 6850 2300.
